The summer months can be hot and humid,reaching temperatures of up to 90°F (32°C). Conversely,winter brings coldness and snowfall – the temperatures have been known to drop as low as -24°F (-31°C)! Thunderstorm season typically runs from April to September; however this region sees two times more thunderstorm activity than other areas across America.
